Ink & Thread

Ink & Thread is a creative project editor designed for writers, worldbuilders, and artists who prefer flexible, visual organization over rigid structure.

It allows you to build and manage projects made up of interconnected notes, scenes, characters, and concepts. Instead of forcing ideas into a linear outline, Ink & Thread lets you arrange and refine your work in a way that reflects how creative thinking actually happens.

The editor is well suited for long form writing, lore tracking, and complex projects that evolve over time. Projects are saved locally, and the interface is built to support experimentation, iteration, and gradual refinement without unnecessary friction.

Ink & Thread is currently in active development. New features, improvements, and fixes will be added regularly as the project evolves.

Ink & Thread Discord Server

The android version of the program is purely a test and still needs work on being optimized for phones and tablets. Im uploading it so that if anyone wants to play around on it and offer ideas they are free to.

For any users that are getting an error with the Mac .dmg file saying the application is broken, its an issue with the gatekeeper. Just go into your terminal and use this command.

xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/ink-thread.app"

This should get rid of that issue while I work on debugging that.
